I m Rob, an engineer, tinkerer, and plant enthusiast. Over the years I ve dabbled in everything from BMX, composting, drift RC, fingerboarding to vermiculture, but what really hooked me recently is plant tissue culture. Not just the plants themselves but the data, tools, and processes behind it.

Outside of plants and code, I ve worked at Microsoft and Spotify, built websites for brands like Best Buy and Peloton, and travel the world with my little schnauzer. I m excited to connect with this community, share what I ve been building, and learn from other makers and enthusiasts!

For the past 10 years I have worked for multiple companies across various industries as a Software Engineer. One problem (among many) that I have experienced wherever I have been is documentation. Whether it's poorly written, time-consuming to write or doesn't exist at all, not many developers or teams enjoy writing thorough documentation.
As mentioned, writing documentation can be a time-consuming process and small businesses, agencies and solo-developers often do not have the time to produce quality documents. I am on a mission to change this by releasing an AI-powered service that will automatically generate high-quality software documentation such as:

• README

• API docs

• Architecture overviews

• Comprehensive overviews (all of the above)

The generated documentation will, of course, still need reviewed and edited, however it will cut down massively on the time it would take to manually write. This means more time can be spent creating features, fixing bugs and providing more value to end-users. Go from spending 20 hours on writing documentation to just 2 by just supplying a GitHub repository and letting the service create the docs in minutes, allowing time for review and editing. The product will have multiple features at launch depending on plan:

• Easy to use UI

• Fast document generation (minutes compared to hours manually)

• Sign up/login via GitHub authorization and email/password

• Link GitHub for private repositories

• API access

• Monitoring dashboard

• Download options with multiple export formats (PDF, txt, doc etc)

• Bulk processing
