I'm J, and my journey into hardware has been a bit non-traditional, coming from economics, product, and AI, rather than core EE. Observing the industry, I often feel like hardware innovation, particularly around component intelligence, hasn't fully leveraged AI's potential compared to software.

Hi everyone! I'm Rahul Arulkumaran, a 3x Founder with 2 exits. My first startup was Widhya - scaled to 15,000+ users and recognized as a "Top 10 Startup in India in 2021." My 2nd startup was NFTGarage - which was an NFT Project + Launchpad - generated $500k in 6mo. Now I'm working on my 3rd startup, Browzer. I'm an active AI researcher with 40+ papers & 900+ citations, part of the Forbes Technology Council and a book reviewer at O'Reilly.

I was a Data Engineering intern 2 years back and since then I've donned multiple roles -- Data Engineer Intern -> Data Engineer II -> Data Engineer III -> AI Research Fellow -> AI Engineering Manager. The one constant through all this was that I always built were automation systems for various non-technical teams. The one thing I realized was the end goal for these companies were same, but the processes, tools and products that people used were different.

Brand new here, trying to figure out how product hunt works. I ve read some threads, browsed some launches, and scheduled a launch myself. I am not tech savvy at all, and everyone in here is so smart! So bear with me :) I come from a very small town in the Western US. I am a mom of 4 and a bartender/entrepreneur. I have a terrible habit of chasing business opportunities. Not proud of it, but I am a free spirit who wants all the freedom and I LOVE leading a team in whatever I do. You would think I m a A type personality but I m the furthest from it. So heres to hoping my new adventure provides all the freedom

Hello all! I'm a Gen X indie artist who has endured the pains of the ever-changing traditional music industry first-hand. It used to be that for the average artist, industry gatekeepers controlled access to record deals, marketing budgets and large scale distribution of physical albums.

In today's landscape, music distribution is no longer the problem; now its over-saturation and lack of monetization opportunities due to its non-tangible format, low barrier of entry to the major digital streaming platforms and their "pro-rata" payout system, where all music usage and royalty payments are aggregated across the platform and paid out disproportionately to artists on major labels. On average, indie artists with a small to medium-sized fanbase will earn a fraction of a penny (.004) per stream, and in most cases, will not surpass 10,000 streams a year (do the math). This leaves an entire demographic of artists with no direct access to monetize their art effectively. It also encourages artists to mimic the styles of existing, seemingly successful artists in a desperate attempt for financial gain instead of prioritizing creative expression and authenticity - thus cheapening the sound and integrity of the entire music industry as a result.
