i think this is awesome, we don't even try to think how we could replace google and other search engines model.. before I read your pitch I didn't question browsing itself as how we can design it better. I like the kelvin approach

@ugo_gessa Thank you so much! I hope you can join us in revolutionizing how we journey around the internet. ❤️

My bookmarks are always cluttered and unorganised. Everyday, I find new websites and it becomes a hefty task to categorise and use them regularly. I find Get Kelvin to be a place where I can reorganise my habits of internet surfing and use my time efficiently without wasting any moment on websites that are not truly useful. This is a breakthrough and a much needed community-focussed initiative and I support it whole-heartedly.

I've been testing Get Kelvin out for a while now. What I'm most impressed with is the speed at which the Kelvin team is able to build out features and iterate on their product. As a user and a maker, what I found most useful was being able to share my own web apps to a community that seems genuinely excited about new sites and ideas. I think they're on to something with the collections feature. It's a great way of grouping sites/ideas together and seems better than bookmarking because it allows for a discussion.

@cskc97 Glad to hear we're onto something, thanks so much! We hope Collections is a great way to organize and discuss ideas for sure, I've been using it like crazy.

Great job on creating this. There has always been a huge need for something like this and personalization is the way of the future.

@alexander_a_a_egan Thanks so much, and we're happy you're diggin' the personalization!!

I've found everything from helpful design websites for work to an oddly day-brightening video of a man smiling into a camera for hours on end - Get Kelvin provides that mix and possibility to get you to quality content as well as much-needed rabbit holes. I look forward to finding and following people I trust for whatever reason - work, hobbies, music, etc. - and seeing what collections they come up with. It's starting to become one of my go-to places to visit when in search of something and with more users/content the experience will get even better. All the best :)

@james_jeffrey_1 Thanks for sharing your experience of Get Kelvin! We're so happy to hear it's becoming your go-to place for finding new sites and content. 👏 Thank you for your contributions to our community! 😎

What's your favorite way to add a site to Get Kelvin?
Harry Moxom
This is a actually a surprisingly great way of getting people to share the sites most useful to them which helps everyone find new corners of the internet that are relevant to them. If you're looking for new content for a specific theme like: gaming or travel, you can find new sites with real ratings quickly. What's not to like? Plus, no ads!
Sarah Loertscher
@harry_moxom Thanks so much for the feedback and kind words, stoked you're enjoying Get Kelvin! 😍

Have not used it yet but already sounds great! Coincidentally I was wondering yesterday why we are still Googling stuff since the results often are not the things you are looking for and worse, they are completely unstructured. It's just a random bunch of results that happen to have the keywords you have searched for somewhere on the page. I hope this will take off!
Gavin Hewitt
Have used it in the meantime and sorry to say I'm hugely underwhelmed. I thought the experience was going to be awesome but it was not. I found the overall experience confusing and not very intuitive. But hey, that's just me. I'm sure that others will love it but for now it's just not what I'd been hoping for. Best of luck guys!
Sarah Loertscher
@gavinhewitt hey Gavin - thank you so much for checking out Get Kelvin and taking the time to write a response! If you have the time or interest, I'd love to hear more about your experience and how we can make it better - we're learning a lot after this launch, and are tinkering with many different facets of the site to make the UX way more intuitive. Can I send you a DM on here?
Gavin Hewitt
@sarahloertscher Yeah sure!
Sarah Loertscher
@gavinhewitt amazing, thanks! 🙏
