Ravi got my email address from a service we both use for sending email campaigns. I contacted the service and they did not authorize this. Ravi had no problem taking my email from them and spamming me to leave a review on his product here on PH. Mission accomplished. Please note that if you sign up and give Ravi your email address you can expect it to be used without your permission in unrelated advertising, or sold on to any other company or service.

@mvpforsaas Thanks Dima. I didn't get your email from the service. We are all part of their "warming up email list" that are essentially bots communicating with each other to increase spam accuracy (My email sent 3-4 automated emails to yours as part of their gibberish warm up). That whole process is flawed and a huge security flaw exposing all of their customers to each other. I was trying to help. Cheers!

@raviformative we both agree that you got my email address from a service we both use, which exposed all their customers to you due to a huge security flaw. You have just said so. And so you used this security flaw to spam all of us to like your Product Hunt page. Why would anybody on Product Hunt, or any customer of yours, trust their email address to somebody who uses leaked information to market themselves? Since you had no ethical problem using my email address however you like, knowing I didn't opt in, what could possibly convince your customers you won't do the same with their email address next time?
