By other application standards in the year 2017, it's pretty 'meh.' It's a billion dollar company, man. It should be gorgeous, functionally beneficial, not just 'cleaner' than the last version that's been used for the last five to eight years.

Sorry. The new LinkedIn interface is a great example on how to spoil something that was not perfect anyway. The colour theme selection, distorted popup menus (my family name did not even fit in it), that bluish thin line under the toolbar... I could not find any new useful features at all. It seems the whole update was about rearranging the look of the website to make it more Twitter-like. Bad try.
