LockedIn - Terminal-first productivity system for focused builders

by
LockedIn is a modular, terminal-based productivity system built for developers who prefer focus over clutter. Unlike traditional task managers with heavy UIs, LockedIn runs entirely in the CLI and stores data locally using JSON. It’s lightweight, scriptable, and extensible. Designed for builders who live in the terminal, it removes distractions and keeps workflow fast, structured, and intentional.

Hey everyone, LockedIn started as a personal experiment to build a productivity tool that doesn’t pull you out of your workflow. As developers, we spend most of our time in the terminal, yet most task managers live in browsers or heavy apps. I wanted something lightweight, modular, and fully scriptable — a system that feels native to builders. The biggest challenge was designing a clean CLI architecture that stays simple but still extensible. Over time, it evolved into a structured productivity framework rather than just a task list. Would love feedback from terminal-first builders. What features would make this your daily driver?
