@benuuts From the introduction: "There is an amazing, actively maintained open-source list of the top 140 places to post your startup here: https://github.com/mmccaff/Place... We’ve taken the liberty of organizing these into a list sorted by domain and page authority for all the websites and number of users for the subreddits. We’ve also scrubbed the list to fix all broken and outdated links as well as adding some of our own. We hope you find this list useful!" It is not the same list, the original (which we contributed to by the way) has been completely changed and updated with many of the links being replaced, everything formatted and sorted, da and pa listed, etc. The only reason you guys know about the original is because we clearly link it in the introduction... but yes feel free to check out the original list we linked it for a reason it is also a great resource.

@stas_kulesh I may have misphrased that but my meaning was that I don't think people should be punished for giving a shout out to the original inspiration when, not only did they contribute to it, but the new version is a completely different list with different content and format and new features. It's so rare for people to "cite their sources" on the internet and give shout outs to the original creators of something they make a derivative or updated version of and now I see why that's the case.
