We’re launching Ryzen-powered VPS at LumaDock - looking for early feedback
Hey everyone,
I’m part of the team at LumaDock (a developer-focused cloud platform built by infra people who actually own their hardware). We’ve been quietly working on a new line of Ryzen VPS hosting that’s about to go live, and I’d love to share what we’ve built and get your thoughts before launch.
This new lineup runs on dedicated AMD Ryzen vCPUs, paired with DDR5 5600 MHz memory and PCIe Gen4 NVMe storage. The idea is simple: offer the responsiveness and reliability of dedicated servers, but keep the flexibility and pricing model of VPS.
We’ve been testing it across high-frequency workloads (web apps, CI/ CD pipelines, small game servers) and the feedback so far has been great. What we’re trying to figure out now is how devs would like to see this evolve:
Would you prefer flexible scaling (per vCPU) or more fixed, predictable tiers?
How important is full control over DDoS/firewall settings to you?
Anything missing from your current VPS provider that we should prioritize?
We’re launching soon on Product Hunt as LumaDock – Ryzen VPS, and any feedback from this community would help us make the rollout stronger.
Appreciate your time! PS: if you’ve ever felt disappointed by overpromised VPS performance, this one’s for you.
Cheers from everyone here!
— The LumaDock team
