Macro - A Zoom client for creatives

We launched the first version of Macro on Product Hunt just over a year ago as a proof-of-concept for a 3rd party Zoom client. And we learned a LOT since then. Over the last year, we took the product back into beta and learned from over 200,000 meetings and 2500+ teams that had been testing Macro. I've been following the Macro team since their first launch, and since the moment I saw the 'airtime' feature I knew I had to try it. We've been using it on our team ever since, and I love how it makes the formal feel of virtual meetings more human, inclusive and fun. I mean, the real world is not a neat little grid of faces! Macro brings so much more expressivity and ease of collaboration. Excited to support them in the launch today! (full disclosure I am a tiny tiny investor).

After a few months of use I can honestly say it's the best upgrade to your video conferencing life. It's perfect for small meetings, when you need "floating heads" over Figma. It makes everything feel a little more natural and engaging, less formal and better for creative work. The Ramps design team uses Macro almost exclusively for creative Jams and Crits. I cannot recommend it enough.

there are some things that redefine your relationship to everything else. meetings are too often a necessary evil and it's easy to get lost in an endless fog of zoom calls. macro brings people back to the forefront and pushes ceremony to the side. it's not a turnkey solution to revolutionize meetings or change the world or upend industries. i feel like this tool is at its best when we change one hour of your life and by giving you tools to see other people and be seen in a different way. (i'm an engineer with these folks; sorry not sorry. but to be fair i'm like one wrong emoji away from being fired)
