The only reason I used mailbutler was for its ability to automatically upload large files to my NextCloud server, FTP, WebDav etc. All that is gone now.

Pros:

Non that I use

Cons:

Removed upload services I used

I've never found a mail app that could match Mailbox which Dropbox shutdown, my inbox has never recovered. The primary feature that I've found missing is the ability to snooze emails to appear when on a computer or mobile device, does Mailbutler do that? Does Mailbutler create more than one label in the primary labels area? Many of the professional features are done by my existing mail app without the monthly cost.

None of the signatures that I have made through "bowtie" , the new version are working at all. I have reached out to support and have received various responses, none of them solving the problem.

Pros:

Love the features, IF they worked

Cons:

buggy, new version not working properly

I am using Mailbutler in my work as a sales exec every day. I is a great all-in-one package, especially for those using Mac computers. I can track my emails, prepare them quickly with templates, undo sending (a life saver not present in Mail by default!) and on top of that bcc them to my crm.

Pros:

all in one, multiple integrations

Cons:

subscription

The best feature of MB to me was the toolbar icon that allowed you to quickly compose an email. NowI see three tabs in this icon: Activity which doesn't seem to do anything, Notes which allows you to put a note on an email (but this icon only displays the ones you have created), and Tasks (similar to notes). So, it appears the feature I used MB for is now not there at all. :(

Pros:

Notes tab might be useful, as well as the task tab.

Cons:

price, the functionality I used in MB ver1 is no longer there (or at least isn't obvious).

Hi Glenn, The feature to quickly compose whole emails or just paragraphs is still in the new version of Mailbutler. Check out this article which shows two methods of using the Templates: https://support.mailbutler.io/kn... Feel free to reach out to me via szymon@mailbutler.io if you have any additional questions.

I used the 1.0 version of Mailbutler every day. I loved how it made my my Apple Mail experience much much better. However the move to Mailbutler 2.0 has not been good. They are collecting my emails with no way to opt out. Why do they need my emails? They did not need that in the old version. Also why can't I opt out of this. This is a security risk. Who is looking at my emails. They use to be able to add reminders to Apple Reminders, in 2.0 that feature I use the most often for my workflow is gone. I have no other uses for this tool any more. .

Pros:

None anymore. I need a new tool.

Cons:

Email collection without a way to opt out...security issue

Use to be able to use Apple Reminders

I can't use this tool any more because of the email collection without opt out and the lack of integration with Apple Reminders (Version 1 had this integration). Any ideas of a another tool I can try out?

Fantastic customer service—always friendly, helpful and responsive. They are frustrated by having to work around Apple's obsessive control culture—hence weak integration, remote web interface and compatibility problems.

Pros:

You know if your mail has been opened. Set follow-up.

Cons:

Slows everything down. Clunky lack of integration. Hard do find notes and follow-ups. Web interface cumbersome. Potentially security issues

they lost a lot of my scheduled emails for the entire year of 2019 , I had many scheduled emails for all 2019 for our clients and besides not delivering some because their platform needs serious work yesterday they lost all of my scheduled email and when reported to them they simply ignored, so you run a business and depend on your do NOT use this service, in theory is good but when the rubber meets the road they suck

Pros:

a lot of promises not delivered

Cons:

they lost a lot of my scheduled emails for the entire year of 2019

Mailbutler doesn't work more than 50% of the time. It is completely unreliable for any business. I've had it on MBP15 2017 (Mojave) and now on MBP16 2019 (Catalina) is even worst. I did send numerous emails and done troubleshooting multiple times but nothing changed for the entire year. Actually, it got worst. This is a great idea with a very disappointing execution.
