Idea is good. I struggled sometimes to find with team the OKRs for them.
However, I found most of those OKRs being fuzzy. You cannot measure progress.
"Drive customer success outcomes..." - when is the goal reached?
- when we drove it by 1% by 60%,
- maybe by customers you interact like 3, 10, 1000...
- maybe just increase by 7
I find many people or teams set such goals. It is like new year's resolution to "lose weight", and we settle after first kilogram.
What's more you shouldn't just say "optimize". This is unprofessional (for sure in engineering), "optimize" it requires a subject on which we optimize. You can optimize in regards to
- "time required to do X",
- "optimize storage required to do Y" etc.
