Why we built MiMomento instead of another “gift app”

MiMomento started with a simple frustration.

Special moments were already happening digitally photos on our phones, messages in chats, songs shared in links but they were scattered everywhere. When the moment passed, the feeling passed with it.

I didn’t want to build another loud social platform or a feature-heavy app. I wanted something quieter. One page. One story. One private link.

Behind the scenes, I focused on keeping everything intentional:
no likes, no feeds, no pressure to perform. Just a space where someone can say, “This moment matters to me.”

We’re still shaping MiMomento and would genuinely love early thoughts:
