Miro app for Zoom - Collaborative whiteboarding during Zoom Meetings
by•
Miro is now seamlessly integrated into the Zoom experience, which means less context switching and more collaborating! With the Miro app for Zoom, you get a canvas for co-creation on every meeting, making them more hands-on and productive.
Hi Product Hunt!
Today we’re excited to introduce the Miro app for Zoom, bringing the power of Miro’s collaborative whiteboard into Zoom so that teams can co-create on Miro directly within their Zoom video meeting, without having to switch tools.
As a member of a distributed team here at Miro, I’m all too familiar with the challenges of context switching during a video meeting and trying to navigate between different workspaces while also connecting with my coworkers. I also often find myself wishing I had a way to sketch out my ideas on a call. So, we’ve built Miro’s app for Zoom so anyone — Miro user or not — can launch a blank Miro board during a meeting, share it with their team, co-create, then save their work to keep collaborating after the meeting.
It’s been such a fun journey collaborating with the team at Zoom to get this launched, and we’re thrilled to be a launch partner for Zoom Apps. Looking forward to continuing to collaborate with the whole Zoom team as this platform evolves.
Please let us know what you think or how you plan on using the Miro app for Zoom with your team in the comments!

Bit disappointing that it doesn't seem to work on iOS (an iPad).
What bothers me more is how it integrates with board sharing settings. I typically set a password on boards that I'm sharing editing rights on. Doesn't seem to be possible when using this...
