I've been using this app heavily for the past month, and I can't think of any other product besides LLMs that have unlocked more productivity gains in the last few years. I especially love its contextual awareness of the application I'm in and the custom instructions I can give per app. It's fantastic for composing quick replies in Microsoft Teams or Outlook, or even composing messages to LLMs themselves. I've found that I'm using LLMs even more aggressively than before because it's so much easier to communicate what I want. Even though I'm a very effective typist, it's just so much easier to say it.
The only downside is that I'm in an office, and I have to continually close my door so my co‑workers aren't hearing everything I'm saying to myself and thinking I'm crazy in here.
Absolutely loving it and use it every single day. I literally feel like Don Draper dictating big copy ideas into his voice recorder.
Amazing job guys.

Monologue has been great. I've been using it for the last month or so, and it really has changed the way I interact with claude code or even WhatsApp. It's just easy, it generally gets it, it has the context, gets the names correct. Props to @naveennaidu_m for building such a polished, well working product.

A definite and dramatic improvement over MacOS's built-in dictation. I'm typing less and less every day...including this comment.

The UX on this is so smooth. You can feel the love and care that went into it. Top tier work!

What is the difference between you and @Wispr Flow ? Why should I switch to you? Do you have an iOS app?
You're like the 7th product to build this -- so why you?!
@alymoursy Few key differences: - Modes: Customize workflows (it has custom workflows built in for messaging, emails, coding) but you can create your own!
- Speed: Sub 1s transcriptions
- Privacy first: Choose between local and remote models
- Native mac app: Better memory usage
- Better value: It's included in the Every bundle. Stop paying for endless AI subscriptions, just get Every. You basically need two AI subscriptions: ChatGPT/Claude and @every (includes Monologue, Cora, Sparkle and Spiral)
- Users describe it like “taste with AI.” It feels natural, flows better, and after 3–5 uses most people just switch
I can tell you what others have shared, but the TL;DR is many feel a difference after 3–5 attempts. Try and see if you feel the same.
iOS app is on the roadmap. Hoping release in Q4, 2025
