I am a college student and have been an active Brew reader for over two and a half years. If I miss a morning, it's an email I keep in my inbox to actually go back to read, even if weeks go by. The Morning Brew covers dense topics from a variety of industries while also providing a fresh perspective on recent events. I used to say it was similar to Skimm for business, but I believe it's witty humor exemplifies a high level of entertaining intelligence.

Exec Summary: Subscribe to the Morning Brew, a hybrid of The Skimm and The 10-Point.

Pros:

serious business and industry content with a hint of humor

Cons:

takes longer than expected to read

I'm a long time reader. Morning Brew has gotten me very excited to enter the business world. If you're looking for a way to stay informed on a variety of current events in the business world, the Brew is for you. If you're looking for extensive and deep reporting pieces, the brief style may not be what you're looking for.

Pros:

Good choice of topics, great writing, very informative, entertaining

Cons:

Longer articles on website are great but there aren't enough

I’m a freshman and Vanderbilt and I’m interested in business and Econ but didn’t know where to start or what to read in order to learn more about them. Morning Brew does a great job with giving me info I find useful in a way that is easy for me to understand!

Pros:

Fast and easy to read!

Cons:

None

Morning Brew hits our inboxes every morning and gets us caught up on the key topics and stories happening in the business world today. The tone makes it easy to read and approachable and its jazzy enough to where it is interesting to look at, but not too over the top where it becomes annoying. Informative, on time and never spammy.

Pros:

Short, succinct and approachable

Cons:

No mobile app

Morning Brew has become one of my go to sources for daily news. As a young professional continuously on the go it is nice to know I can stay informed on relevant topics in less time than it takes me to get on and off the subway each morning. Keep up the great work!!

Pros:

Consistent delivery time, witty writing style, relevant content, brain teasers keep me on my toes

Cons:

Sometimes hits my spam

The Morning Brew is truly the best newsletter out there. As a college student, I don’t have time to read the Wall Street Journal. But it is not only about time. The Brew is personalized and put emphasis on what really matters. The major developments in the business world everyday. No need to get lost in multiple tabs in traditional journals.

Pros:

Extremely helpful newsletter for everyone interested in the business world! Its brevity is perfect for college students like myself!

Cons:

No app

The brew makes it easy to digest complex concepts like the federal reserve and corporate finance. They always give me things to talk about and I always feel like I know what's going on in the market. The tone is conversational and I never get bored or lost in the middle of it.

Pros:

its short enough to get through on a morning commute but detailed enough that I can speak intelligently about the topics

Cons:

If I dont get to it before 9 am, I've usually already heard all the news in the brew

Austin Block Rief
Thanks Jacob!
