An app blocker and step counter: walking earns screen-time minutes for the apps you pick, and those apps lock when the minutes run out.

Mozy 2.0 just dropped on iPhone.

v1: walk to unlock your apps

v2: same, but a tiny guy in a hat judges you

also new:

- 100 steps = 3 min of scroll

- walks earn your buddy hats, glasses, ears

- stats + famous walks

- a weekly rest day

i made my own phone harder to use. again.

Love to see another app for mindful smartphone usage! Wishing a good luck with the launch!

thanks, need more apps in this space

Very simple and interesting tool for people without strong discipline or self control. What prevents an individual from unblocking App Blocker to begin with? I am assuming if someone is expecting a message or something then their instinct will be to disable the App Blocker and that opens up other notifications, isn't it?

to prevent users from force quiting or disabling app blocker i have integrated a gamification (levels upgrade), and they will get panalty or they will lose their progress

Excellent. That's cool. Congratulations on your launch and best of wishes with Mozy. You've got my upvote.

 thanks 🤩

100 steps for 3 min is a tight ratio. on the weekly rest day do you get free minutes or does blocking just pause?

blocking is completely stopped for that day

Just installed. I feel like i'm looking for these concept app from long time to reduce my digital screen time. At least I'll make my self start to walk after that. Huge shout out for the concept, graphics, Animation work in App. Thank You for makers for such awesome app idea and the implementation.

glad you enjoyed it 😄, hope it helps you in ur journey of reducing screen time and getting Fit 💪

earning a few minutes of scrolling from a walk feels easier to stick with than another daily warning

also glad there is a rest day in there

rest day is reward for users who follow through the steps and use less time on their phone, it will read their weekly report and if they are eligible then they will get weekly pass

Does a bike ride or a gym session earn minutes too, or only steps? On days I train without walking much I'd end up locked out of my own phone.

its specifically walking, and bike ride won't count same with any ride, steps are the only way to earn time inside app as of now

I see, do you plan to add this ?

i need to increase users first, unless i get substantial amount of users on this app i am stopping new features and only doing marketing and i will launch a feature request portal for users if i get same request from multiple users then yes i will be happy to add new cool features

 make sense !! GL
