MumbleFlow today: local Mac dictation, meeting notes, and cited search
A product update from Aura Technologies, the team behind MumbleFlow.
The original launch description here is out of date, so here is what the current app actually supports.
MumbleFlow is for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 26 or later, with English support. The current release is not available for Windows, Linux, Intel Macs, or mobile. It costs $5 once, with no recurring app subscription.
Alongside dictation into the focused app, the Oat meeting workspace captures microphone and selected computer audio when you start Record Meeting. It provides timestamped transcripts, editable speaker names, and decisions, action items, and open questions with source citations. It records no video.
You can search saved meetings with exact and semantic retrieval, then return to the relevant transcript passage and retained source audio. Ranked search works without a generative model; local answer generation is optional.
Recognition, cleanup, notes, embeddings, and search run locally after model setup. Internet access is needed for purchase, model downloads, and updates. Meeting audio defaults to 30 days of retention; meeting notes and transcripts remain until deleted. Gmail, Calendar, and Slack integrations are not currently enabled.
