While Needle Collections are incredibly useful to find information, a lot people we talked to also want to automate daily repetitive tasks. Those kinds of automations that level-up when you use AI agent components in them.
I like to think of Needle Workflows like engaging auto-pilot. You let agents run for you, so you can 10x your output.
We designed Needle Workflows with AI baked into every aspect of it. Anytime you need, an assistant is there to help you - that is how 2025 should feel like.
For example, in Needle Workflows, you don't configure a node, you instruct it on what it should do. Appropriate configuration is decided by - you guessed it - AI.
👉 You don't discover how things work, instead AI teaches you and, when you ask for it, AI executes for you.
That's how we shape our products.

@wayne_appgrowing Hi Wayne, thanks a lot for your comment. We want to make it as easy as possible to create workflows. So you can also chat with your workflows and describe what you want to achieve. The learning curve should be as little as possible. That is what we aim for. You can also take n8n workflows, convert them to an MCP, and trigger them through Needle.

I’ve struggled with repetitive tasks across Notion and Slack the idea of building custom AI agents to handle them instantly clicks. Looking forward to trying it out.

With Needle, simply describe your workflow in everyday language, and Needle will automatically assemble it—with the right integrations, logic, and AI agents doing the heavy lifting.

I have a platform for moderating social media engagement and automation, so services like me if wanted to add a module is that possible? So others can use your platform to automate their needs, where they can use custom node.
