Helping the underdog beat the odds

Another critical aspect of any business or startup is having a clear idea of who its target audience is.

Between the two extremes of "everybody" and "I have no idea," there's an infinite list of ways to describe your target audience more specifically.

We knew we wanted to target startups because we love the ecosystem surrounding them: fast-paced, constantly evolving, and full of people who want to bring real change to their category and are ready to take risks.

But in 2026, "startup" can mean anything and everything, from bootstrapped apps solving hyper-specific problems to unicorns and massive companies like Anthropic and OpenAI.

So, which type of startup?

The ones we truly want to help are those that stand to benefit the most from a dedicated micro-team of experts.

Bootstrapped founders rightly leverage the power of generative AI to build things that were impossible just a few years ago, creating a decent and consistent image around their product.

From Series A and B onward, startups secure serious funding and become much more structured, with defined departments, multiple offices, and large budgets. They can easily enlist big agencies to create great work.

The ones left behind are the startups in the middle: those that have outgrown basic AI tools but struggle to be taken seriously by traditional agencies, often getting passed off to junior staff or turned away entirely.

That's exactly who we want to collaborate with the most, giving them the opportunity to partner with a lean team of 2 senior professionals delivering agency-grade standards, with one crucial difference: we actually take them seriously.
