Notion for iOS - A collaborative editor for notes, tasks, and wikis

by

A magical editor that blends real-time documents, wiki-like organization, and lightweight tasks into a single tool that can handle pretty much all of your knowledge and collaboration needs.

It also works offline and syncs great with the browser/Mac/Windows app!

I have been using Notion for iOS (beta) for a couple of weeks. I just love this app. The iOS app is as great as the desktop app, and with it Notion has become my main hub for knowledgebase/wiki/notes, both personal & professional (team). Just try it (trying both desktop and mobile is better I think) and you will see!

To everyone on the Notion team - thank you! Your product has impacted the way our team works in so many ways. I want to highlight on one piece of functionality that isn't getting enough attention: Export to Markdown. Notion's fluid formatting makes it super easy for anyone to get thoughts on to paper. Formatting is super easy, sure, but each element is Markdown compatible! Incredible! As heavy users of Jekyll and Github, exporting Notion docs to markdown makes it possible for our not-as-technical users to write documentation the same way as our more-technical team. We collaborate on webpages, support documents and more in Notion as a team and then export to markdown to publish to our site and GH repos. Can't recommend enough!

Notion somehow manages to be an incredibly flexible tool for collaborating on tasks, projects and wikis without feeling like it's trying to do too much. It's a solid option for a team hub. Most task/project management apps separate task items from information items. Notion allows you to do it all in the same place. Bonus: easy exports and imports...

Pros:

Flexible management of tasks/projects/wikis etc, without offering an overwhelming set of options to configure. Well supported.

Cons:

Email notifications?

I Love Notion!

Pros:

Has been replacing all my note-taking apps (Quip, Google Drive Suite) and is on its path to replace task management apps like Trello!

Cons:

For now, all good!

Our Company - Solis Lab - was used this awesome product for a few months. It improved our workflow so much, from training newbie, create document for each project until create a list of to-do things, integrate it with Slack and much more.

I hope they can improve much more for developer, cause we still reach a little bit bad experience in case putting code examples to notion.so.

Some of new features we should they can add more:

- Integrate with WordPress (why not?), to make sync between posts in Notion.so and WordPress.

- Import Google Docs (maybe they did, but I never check it).

Thanks for great product!
