btw, my last one was for my marriage application stuff - you should consider getting this app featured on some of those big wedding sites - however, it will need to support dual identification or something like that

@passingnotes We support supplementary IDs. Your drivers license is validated and you can then add a second ID like passport, utility bill, etc. As you say, some documents require this.

This is a cool idea. However I get documents notarized at no cost at my local bank. But I can see how this would be helpful for others.

*Oops. Answered above. Are their plans to open this up as a service like Stripe (api+sdk)? Can imagine governments and other agencies seeing this as a way to reduce friction and provide better service time with this.

@itsdasz You have to be a licensed Virginia [standard] notary and must then purchase a digital certificate. You then reapply with Virginia, provide your certificate, indicate the platform you'll operate on [Notarize in this case], and must then be approved to serve as an electronic notary. We also require that all of our agents pass background screenings, carry liability insurance, and take additional training.
