Hey Product Hunters! It’s that time again—we’re excited to share an update on what we’ve accomplished over the past six months! With your support, we’ve grown to over 190,000 users, all while completely bootstrapping our product. ♥️
Revamped Sitemap generator – we’ve made it faster and more versatile for importing various types of websites. Now, you can crawl websites in the background while working on another project.
New Content planner – you can store files, add images, and edit text content for each page. This year you will explore amazing new addons and features that will deliver next-level user experience in content planning.
New Publish feature – turn your sitemap into a Notion-like website. It's a perfect knowledge base for your company, product description, or for other content sharing.
Artboard Attachments – you can now add files, images, and spreadsheets that remain visible within your sitemap at all times.
Figma Plugin Love – our Figma plugin helps designers instantly connect their work in Octopus with Figma. The community loves it—it has already reached over 6,400 users!
Thank you for making this happen! 🙌 In Q3 2024, we started refactoring our code to make Octopus even faster than before. Performance updates will start rolling out soon—stay tuned!
I barely see on the PH products for a clear website structure. This is something that we lacked here because some websites are a mess because of a lack of designing. Wish you a good luck for today's launch (and in general with the product). :)
@andrew_white_13 Hey Andrew! Currently not, but we may provide you with a JSON file for integration experiments. Drop us an email at hello@octopus.do.
If interest for integration grew, we'd definitely introduce a public API to streamline this.

@busiyama great! will reach out on the email when we start building out that part.

Couldn't have come out at a better time I'm literally creating a sitemap today for my companies site! Congrats on the launch will definitely give it a try today!

Two valuable promises - speed and visual planning for about its collaborative capabilities and export options. All the best for product launch.
Neat improvements! The background website crawling is a huge boost for multitasking, and the Content planner plus Figma integration should really streamline workflows. Looking forward to giving it a spin!
This is such an impressive update! Hitting 190,000 users while bootstrapped is no small feat, huge respect for that🫡. The revamped sitemap generator and Figma plugin integration sound like real workflow boosters, especially for teams juggling design and content planning.
Congrats on the launch!
Best wishes and sending lots of wins to the wins :) @karlplaude

@busmark_w_nika Thanks! With design background, we take it really seriously:-)
Hey guys
The sitemap generator made me sign up to a paid account!
However, when in the paid account, I see no option for the sitemap generator. It seems that it only runs on the free account?
@avasilevsky @busiyama @karlplaude
Ah, I see it in 'import'!
Great, great service, this! Looks amazing, too.
Octopus
@embryo Hey! Glad to have you on board! There're two buttons on the dashboard - AI-generation and Website import. Or simply go to octopus.do/import :)
