I'm in lesbian with this app. Seriously, I love the concept. Nice work guys!

@error23_ Thank you!

Since you probably don't know your core demographic yet, I recommend removing "for girls" and "for boys" from each app. Could be that the gay and lesbian community become your core users and your platform shuts them out on the onset. The concept is cool in both design and how you factor out gender by app. It's definitely a new idea.

@rueter Hi! The point is, each half of the app works with users who run another half. So if you download the app "for boys" (OH GIRL), it only matches you with users who've downloaded the app marked "for girls" (OH BOY). As of this moment, there are no options for choosing sexual preferences other than heterosexual in our app. It is presumed that female users will use the OH BOY app, and vice versa.

@masha_voronkova ahhhhh I see, but you can also see my confusion from the onset. Nonetheless, that's a simple fix.

@thewrongjoshua Hey, Joshua! Thanks for the comment =) In fact, that’s the whole point of our app - you don’t necessarily have to meet or date people there, sometimes you can simply kill your time and chat to someone new, discussing films, coffee, space travel, new Twin Peaks season or Guardians of the Galaxy. Just like if you popped by a friends party, you know

looks fun guys, congrats. Whats the timeline for android/web app?
Masha Voronkova
@nickadamsjudge Thank you! We're not planning on developing a browser-based version. As for the Android version: as soon as we get enough feedback from the iOS beta, and know that what we've made really works, we'll definitely get right on to it.

The app looks nice and quirky. I like the lean towards messy aesthetics and animation. Do you plan on doing some equally offbeat promotions? Who do you think will be your early adopters?
Denis Konstantinov
@olia_levina To be honest, we envisaged the app as aimed primarily at people like us — guys and girls who grew up intimately close with the internet culture, in the middle of the environment created by the web. But of course, it's not only us who isn't content with present popular dating apps, with their aesthetics, interface, or policies. So in answer to your other question, we have a strategy that involves promotion via themed parties (not only in-app, but also in real life) which are aimed at people with specific interests and hobbies — things that already form a genuine connection. Geeks, hobbyists, fans, enthusiasts. Our plan is to have these parties more and more often, gradually widening our audience reach.

Can i wait for android version?
Masha Voronkova
@josh_khoury We've released a beta for iOS now, and as soon as we know what we've made works, and process enough feedback, we'll start on developing the Android version right away.

When I read "Visually driven dating experience" the cynic in me said "You mean real life?" That said I love the quirky visuals you have going on! Will give it a shot
