We got tired of AI code reviewing itself, so we built OhMyBug (launching Oct 8)
Hey everyone. I'm Dasha, and I want to tell you about something we've been working on. It's called OhMyBug.
Like most of you, we let AI agents write a scary amount of our code now. And we kept hitting the same wall: the model that wrote the code is the worst possible reviewer of it. It thinks everything it did makes sense. Linters catch syntax, tests catch what you thought to test. But the quiet logic bugs (a wrong assumption here, a missed edge case there) walk straight into production.
So we built one last check before merge:
- Independent reviewers go through your final diff, each hunting a different class of bugs.
- A skeptic then tries to kill every finding. Only the ones that survive reach you.
- Your own agent (Claude Code or Codex) re-checks what's left against your actual repo, and you approve the final verdicts.
First review is free, no card needed. After that it's $10 per review, and only if a real bug gets confirmed. Clean review, false positives, minor stuff — free.
We're launching on Product Hunt on October 8th. Honest question for people who ship AI-written code: what would it take for you to trust an outside reviewer with your diff? And which bug class keeps biting you the most? Asking because your answers actually shape what we build next.
