WebinarNinja 5.0 is an all-in-one, easy to use webinar software that has been created to allow hosts to focus on the content of the webinar and not the tech.

All in all, it's a decent webinar service. We moved FROM WebinarJam that was horrendous webinar quality and very buggy. This is slightly better than that but every aspect of WebinarNinja is hindered by software inabilities. You must upload your pre-recorded videos to Youtube as they don't provide hosted video options. The section for Offers within the webinar are excruciatingly basic, allowing for only a basic text title and description. No imagery, color adjustments, and offers don't show in the recorded webinar replays at the time you make the offer active. We've had 5 webinars now (with ~100-150 people each) and in every instance, at least 2-4 people have inabilities viewing the webinar, regardless their browser. I would recommend WebinarNinja but you must understand the limitations that come with it. I'm hopeful they invest heavily into further development and provide some expanded capabilities but for now, if you're looking for an extremely basic webinar service, W.N will do just fine.

Pros:

- Simple to start & showcase a webinar - Support via live chat to "assist" is very active - Easy API integration with ActiveCampaign

Cons:

- Bugs are acknowledged but rarely fixed - Software limitations - Overly basic offers - Voice delay - User login issues via their devices

Terrible company. They charged me without giving any warning and then pointed to a no-refund policy mentioned in their terms & conditions. The support team got aggressive when I asked for a refund, and they never helped me there. In the end, I got no value out of their product and they scammed me out of $49.

Pros:

Nice design. They're good at selling the product.

Cons:

They oversell the product. Lots of bugs and issues (canโ€™t watch webinars on mobile, upload videos, stats are no good, etc)

The software didn't work for me, but in order to test it out, I had to sign up for a free trial, which was set up as a bait and switch. I hadn't realized I was signing up for a full year membership, and only realized my error when I got charged almost $500!! The company refuses to give me a refund, despite my never having used the software. It's just slimy business practice and poor form.

WEBINAR NINJA folks are scammers. Just debited me for $49 after a free trial and left me on a free plan. Debited without service! That is just TERRIBLE!!

** just use zoom. way better technology. way more reliable if you're serious business owner - multiple technical glitches during webinars, poor sound and video. - multiple complaints from attendees not receiveing recordings and poor quality sound - very poor customer service - ZERO accountability from Omar and staff. ZERO response. like ZERO - poor comunication overall - these people cost me alot of money. refused to find a solution. simply did not care. ghosting messages. - no honour. no respect.

The latest iteration looks great guys! My question here is quality? Is there any difference between the browser based model and the downloadable versions?
Omar Zenhom
@leonhitchens - Great question! The best way I can answer it is by sharing our own experience. When we started WebinarNinja in 2014, we were NOT a browser based software. One of the biggest reasons we moved to being browser based was quality control. A couple of years ago we made the move to being browser based. With the vast majority of the app's computing is done on our scaleable AWS servers, it allows us to to provide a consistent, reliable experience for our users. Apposed to desktop software where you have to trust the user's computing power will hold up and not crash (cough Skype). This is normally fine with apps where a reboot is not a drama. But with live video, an interruption is no joke. Not to mention. updates are much easier for us and users, as it's a seamless experience with no need to prompt the user to update their software. Thanks for checking us out ๐Ÿ˜€
