🚀 OpenFolder V1.6.0: Open workspaces from your menu bar with the right editor

Hi Product Hunt! I’m the solo developer behind OpenFolder.

I built it because I kept reopening the same folders in different tools like Cursor, VS Code, and Xcode. Finder worked, but it always felt like too many steps for something I do dozens of times a day.

OpenFolder started as a simple menu bar launcher for folders and files, and it has grown into a lightweight workspace router for macOS.

What’s new in the latest version:

• A Workspace Browser with Tree, All Files, and Images views

• A cleaner, more native macOS menu and settings experience

• Better support for multi-editor workflows

• Hover to reveal long file and folder names

• French and German localization support

The goal is simple: make it faster to open the right workspace with the right app, without breaking focus.
