Team OpenPhone have been a blessing to my business! I started with these folks after YC's @mwseibel shared their Startup School deal last year and I haven't looked back (I cut the cord and also cancelled my Plum.io subscriptions). @darynakulya and Daryl even helped me port my cell phone number from Rogers in Canada to OpenPhone - that was an awesome experience! I'm now looking forward to expanding my account with shared business numbers! (OpenPhone Desktop rocks literally!)

OpenPhone has been great for our company’s needs. We have loved all the updates and added features that have improved our workflows. We’ve reached out a few times with requests for a certain feature only to find out they were gearing up to deploy them already! Best of all, their support is amazing, they’re very helpful and friendly and quick to address questions.

I'm a happy OpenPhone user! Love how it helps keep business calls separate from my personal number

This is great. My wife has been using you for her clothing store since you launched, and you've been even more helpful to her running her business since shelter in place. It's made the transition seamless as far as communicating with customers. She loves your product!

Very excited about OpenPhone! I subscribed 2 months ago and the team helped me with porting my previous number, which made the whole process super smooth. I love that they are adding features by the day. The new features are killing it for businesses: shared phone numbers, shared contacts, auto-call recording, billing history... Makes our life so much easier. You guys totally get what we need here! Can't wait to discover how it keeps on evolving!

This is a space that I think could really use innovation, so I’m glad to see the 2.0 version of OpenPhone. One thing I’ve noticed with VOIP services is that they’re easily detected and often not allowed when signing up for services. Scenario: I want to create a new Google and Twitter account for my startup. They ask me for my phone number to verify my identiy, so I use my OpenPhone number. When it’s for business use, it’s really important (especially as a solo founder) that all business and personal stuff is separate. But I’ve run into trouble, particularly with social media platforms, where they don’t allow these VOIP phone numbers. Is there any sort of workaround for this? Would these services allow me to use my OpenPhone number, or would I have to use a carrier number?

@darynakulya Great reception here on PH! Looking forward to ditching the Dinosaur system we have. Two Questions: Does OpenPhone support extensions and subsequent routing? For example press 1 for sales and that call is routed to a team member (assuming they need their own number). Second, does OpenPhone support ringing an extension x number of times then routes to another extension if no answer? For example, sales does not answer after 3 rings and get routed to ring at customer service extension? Thank you for taking time to answer these questions during your busy PH launch. Best, TAJA

@modcabinetry Hey there! Thanks a lot for your question. 1 - We're getting ready to launch extensions. Coming real soon. 2 - Not yet, but will be on our radar. So if you'd like, send us a note to support@openphone.co and we'll let you know when the phone menu is here!
