I live in Spain. If I'm able to record Spain-to-USA phone conversations, count me in.

@jorge_sierra Hey Jorge! Yes, you can. You can get a US phone number from Spain and call US as much as you want. You can record those calls too!

@darynakulya Good. What about Spain to other European countries or Australia?

Hi, is this not set up for the UK market?
Daryna Kulya
@javedbobat Hey Javed - you can get a US number from the UK and call the US as much as you want, but we don't offer local UK numbers yet.

Interesting. My 2 issues have been having to constantly change to local numbers when travelling / working remotely in different countries but then signing up for online accounts for software etc.. or having to deal with verification codes with Google but then losing my SIM card so I can no longer verify. I have to travel all the way back to Australia (my home country) to get a new SIM so I can deal with verification stuff. I'm aware that there are solutions like in the US and Canada to have an online phone number that accepts verification messages from big companies, and some online services (but they often don't work for big companies like Google, Tinder, PayPal etc). If OpenPhone could provide me with an online number that works without a SIM and on computer, as a non-US, non-Canadian resident - I would pay big money! 2'nd biggest issue is over-reliance on phones. It's a massive productivity suck, hence we've seen success with Lite Phone 2. I don't even want to carry that around. If OpenPhone works on desktop then great! All I really need my phone for are verification codes. Heck if you guys figure out some kind of virtual smartphone app on PC so I never have to touch a phone again, I'd also pay $$$.

@brandon_nankivell Hey Brandon! First - we already have a web app so no need to rely on the phone and no need to rely on the SIM card either :) Regarding short codes - a lot of those services don't allow virtual phone numbers for 2-factor authentication so that's a limitation now indeed.

This sounds fantastic but I assume it's for North American phone numbers only, right? Almost every service I hear about it North America only. I'm in the UK and I almost 100% call only people in the UK, though I do have a U.S phone number as well just in case.
