Orca is your one-on-one AI Language teacher to master German through real conversations. Speak, listen, and improve in real time — anytime, anywhere. Orca listens, corrects you, and helps you sound more natural.
Congrats on the launch! This product looks fantastic; the interface is especially well-designed. It does interrupt me sometimes, but I still really love its flexibility. Looking forward to seeing it get even better!
Congrats on the Launch! Used the platform and it has great potential. Some pointers from me - push-to-talk or some feedback for when the agent is listening.
- show the text I am supposed to speak and it's english counterpart. This will help in mapping the sound to a text a easier to remember for visual learners.
@avinash_bhardwaj Thank you so much, really appreciate sharing your feedback! 🙏
Regarding Push-to-talk I'm exploring the options including voice isolation especially in noisy environments. Also I'm testing different approaches to see what works best. My initial thinking was that when talking to a native speaker, you don’t usually see the words — so the goal was to train listening and response, to feel more natural and immersive. But I’m experimenting with this, and considering adding an option for users to show or hide the transcript — either the full conversation or just the vocabulary and phrases taught in the lesson. Finally you can repeat any section you want by telling Orca to do so.
Thanks again for helping us shape Orca into something truly useful — your feedback means a lot! 🚀
@pie3 Thanks a lot! 🙌 We hear you — me too not a big fan of Duolingo. Orca takes a more natural, conversation-first approach, and we hope it gives you the kind of learning experience you’ve been looking for.

Hey Ahmed! It sounds actually interesting. I can feel the pain and Orca looks to solve it. Little suggestion... the link brings us directly to a sign in page... it would be great a landing page with further explanation. Anyway, congrats on this impressive launch!
@german_merlo1 Hey, thank you so much — really appreciate the kind words and the great suggestion! 🙏 Totally hear you on the landing page — this is just the MVP, so I was focused on getting the core experience out first. But you're right, a proper landing page with more context would help a lot, and it's definitely on the way. Thanks again for the support! 🚀

Just tried a few minutes of Orca and it's already way more engaging than Duolingo. Actually feels like talking to someone who’s helping you get better, not just playing a game.
