Hi, Team PATR! Congratulations on the launch :) In regards to high scalability, will PATR not charge additional fees once the product database needs to be scaled? Benefits like Free Monitoring and Automated Firewalls sound like a big plus to startups that are ready to grow!

@mycelebs_elle Hi Elisabeth! We only charge for the deployments that are hosted on our servers. For horizontal scalability, we will only charge you for the number of hours that your servers scale up for. If you're opting for the BYOC option, your deployments are completely free of charge. The only costs you will incur are the ones from your cloud provider :)

@dumisani_zulu I would say that one of the biggest differentiators would be the ability to deploy on your own cloud. We've spent so much time fine-tuning it to make sure that it's easy to use and simple, without losing out on the scalability. We've had countless customers who have credits on their existing cloud provider, and would like to utilize them to the maximum, without the complexities of doing so. Patr helps them achieve just that
