Phia 3.0 – AI Voiceovers, Advanced Audio Control and a Redesigned macOS Editor
Today I’m excited to launch Phia 3.0. This is the biggest update yet.
Phia is a native macOS screen recording app designed to turn raw recordings into polished, cinematic videos without the complexity of traditional editing software.
Version 3.0 introduces major improvements across voice, audio control, performance, and overall workflow.
AI and Microphone Voiceovers
• Generate AI voiceovers directly in the timeline
• Use on-device AI models or connect your own API key
• Record microphone narration inside your project
• Edit microphone tracks independently
• Adjust clip speed and microphone speed separately
Everything stays inside the editor. No exporting, no external tools.
Expanded Audio Control
• Full system audio support
• Import background music
• Fine-tune voice and video layers independently
Redesigned macOS Experience
• A faster, cleaner native interface
• Smoother cursor movement and refined animations
• Improved timeline performance
• Sharper exports with better motion quality
Phia 3.0 is focused on making the entire experience feel seamless from recording to export.
This release took weeks of deep iteration on performance, usability, and real-world workflows. If you create tutorials, demos, or product videos, I would love for you to try it and share your feedback.
