Full disclosure: I work as the Growth Architect for PlugThis, so I'm not the founder. Uday Prakash is, and he's in the comments today for technical questions. I'm hunting this because I've been running distribution and positioning for the last few months and I wanted to be the one to bring it here. What PlugThis does in one sentence: you describe a Chrome extension in plain English, and it generates a complete Manifest V3 extension in roughly 2 minutes, then hands you a zip file ready to install or publish. Three things I think are worth your attention: 1. The generated code runs entirely on your own infrastructure. For full-stack extensions, you bring your own Supabase project and your own LLM API key. PlugThis never sits in the runtime path. If we disappeared tomorrow, your extensions keep working. No phone-home, no license check, no dependency on our backend. 2. The pricing is honest about limits. Starter at $89 gives you 3 extensions with 30 builds per month, front-end only. Builder at $199 unlocks full-stack with 10 extensions and 60 builds per month. Agency at $999 removes the extension cap (unlimited projects) with 300 builds per month. When you hit a cap, you hit it. No dark-pattern soft limits or surprise overage charges. 3. We built this specifically because Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, and v0 can technically generate Chrome extension code if you prompt them carefully, but none of them are purpose-built for it. You still end up hand-fixing the manifest, the service worker lifecycle, and the permissions. PlugThis handles those automatically and outputs a zip that installs cleanly in developer mode on the first try. Uday and I will be in the comments and happy to answer anything on the product, the architecture, or the pricing. Thanks for checking it out.
