The best AI tools will be invisible: Introducing Pretty Prompt 1.1.0 🔮
Hot take on AI: The best AI tools will be invisible.
I used to think the best tools were the ones that had lots of features.
But making a tool disappear is more powerful than building endless features.
No one wins the feature war.
The real goal is building a workflow that just works:
Fits into your day without fighting you
Stays out of the way when you don't need it
Handles the annoying tasks so you don’t have to
Works where you already work
So... Introducing V1.1.0: Tab-Specific States (Video)
Most of us don’t stay in one tab.
We bounce constantly: ChatGPT → Claude → docs → back again…
Now, @Pretty Prompt keeps its own memory inside each tab.
You can run ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI agents in separate tabs while using Pretty Prompt on all
Switching tabs no longer destroys your prompt improvement window
Every improvement stays tied to that specific tab and conversation
It’s one of those changes that feels invisible… and that’s why it’s so good.
💬 Do you use multiple AIs at the same time? Which ones!?

I suck at being in your ICP lol.
When i do stuff with AI i prefer to run everything form a single claude code or opencode session. and when I build my own agentic harness for coding it will be that.
Everything gets dispatched from that session, I avoid context switching like the plague.

@build_with_aj this is great! Sounds like you're fairly technical?

@ilaiszp For better or worse I am technical.
Sometimes I am tempted to build an app that stops me from being so.
AI and agentic coding is already a massive cognitive overhead headache if you don't automate context management as much as you can. You burn mental energy on things that do not contribute to domain or operational expertise otherwise.
And when coding or automating tasks with agents you do trade learning for speed, no way around that.

@build_with_aj makes sense! This is just a small update to make sure the prompt window doesn't close when you switch tabs. Hope it makes sense!
