⚡️ 2 New Problems to Build a Startup:
by•
🇺🇸 USA: Fake negative reviews from people who were never customers are appearing on Google Business. Extortionists offer to remove them for money. Google won't help. Need a real solution.
🇻🇳 Vietnam: New SaaS projects require weeks of infrastructure setup. Existing templates don't work. Need a solid foundation. Willing to pay $100–150 one‑time.

Both problems feel very real, especially the infrastructure setup issue. Spending weeks on setup can slow down a new project.

@david_turner12 I agree. I've often encountered the problem of negative reviews from competitors and scammers in the past.

The first one is pretty necessary since many people are relying on suggestions from the internet.

@busmark_w_nika I completely agree, I'm even surprised that no one has solved this problem yet :)

I'm not familiar with how Vietnam implements SaaS projects -- but I feel you on the fake negative reviews. That could be a huge lifesaver for small companies that get doxed by angry mobs and/or bitter karens.
on the fake review one, what makes it hard is that google has no category for this is false. the removal flow only accepts policy violations, so conflict of interest, off topic, spam. a plausible sounding one star from someone who was never a customer fits none of those, and thats exactly why the extortion works at all. what ive seen actually move things is the pattern rather than the words. a cluster of one stars inside a short window, from accounts with almost no other review history, is the shape their spam systems already watch for. so the thing worth building is the evidence package. pull the reviewer histories and the timestamps together into a report shaped like a category google will act on. the vietnam one reads like a different business. one time pricing on infrastructure tends not to come back the year after.
