I love how this comes from a human/user-centered perspective and approach to product management. So many similar products are simply roadmap tools that still keep you stuck in a poor process. I still haven't used it but as a young, new product manager, it looks like exactly what I need. Only 15 day trial then $49 with annual commit is not ideal though. Why not give me a bit more time to try and get entrenched then start charge after a certain level of usage ala AirTable's pricing. I would love to explore the product, but I'm hesitant to start the trial until I'm pretty sure I'm ready to use it. btw I found y'all on google on accident today only to notice that you were trending on here today! Congrats on the launch!

@john__wetzel Thank you for the thoughts, John! I see three main pillars of product management. First is a deep customer insight, second a focused product strategy, and only third is a coherent roadmap. We can make an excellent product only if we advance and continuously iterate on all three. Thank you for the comment about the trial and pricing - this is something we need to iterate on as well. We've been focused primarily on building the product and creating value for our users. There is definitely a lot of room for improvement, better differentiation amongst the plans and overall optimization. Finding the fair balance between value created and value captured for all the different segments is challenging, but exciting as well! If you need more time on our trial, just let us know, we are happy to extend it for you!

@hpalan and product hunt community to update: While I hesitated to start my trial until I watched a webinar and talked to a support rep and researched other options, I have not been on the trial for 7 Days and spent a bunch of time uploaded and sorting insights. I absolutely love it and have sold my team on it. I think the pricing is very fair, and I like the plans. The only the restriction of 5 products makes no sense to me because you can just hide other products as components inside of them. This product is fabulously built and has shown great vision in how it helps companies prioritize. Cheers!

really nice tool to collect feedback and sort ideas for product people which anyone can contribute

Pros:

simple, collaborative, modern, not cluttered with BS features that nobody uses...

Cons:

it can always be cheaper, right? ;)

One of the most well-thought out, smartest thought-work tools I've ever used. Great responsive team headed by Hubert Palan, who's using his in-the-trenches product management experience to build a pm tool with best-practices built into it's DNA. They eat their own dogfood, are constantly improving the product (whilst constantly polling us for assumption validation), and are friendly and responsive.

Pros:

Provides great feature and product overview. Makes user-focussed best-practice product management the path of least resistance. Great UX.

Cons:

Needs a light-weight view to make it easier for non-PM's dip in and out of tickets.

Great product. We use it to organize customer requests, backlog and plan weekly releases. Fast, easy to use, and better for organization and collaboration than SPreadsheets, JIRA, Trello, etc. Been a great tool for our startup. These new updates are exciting. Congrats productboard team!

looks nice the get started video in email after sign up seems to fail? and also the price seems steep as a individual user for personal projects couldn’t justify the monthly subscription

@iice89 Hi Daniel, can you please offer more details about the video issue? We don't see any glitch anywhere. With regard to pricing - we cater more towards a bit later stage teams, but we've giving discounts to very early stage teams. Give us a try and if you like what you see, we'll figure something out!
