If you’re still sitting on your launch, this is the push.
YC made a special exception for this community: one or more companies that launch tomorrow will get a YC interview—and potentially funding. A YC partner will review every eligible launch.
So if you’ve been waiting to feel more ready, don’t.
Launch on Product Hunt by midnight tonight, schedule it for tomorrow, and add the tag “YC application.”
You can keep polishing in private, or you can put it in the world and give yourself a real shot.

Hi @aaronoleary What an amazing opportunity! We received a response from the support (it's an AI agent, though), that adding the existing tag from today’s launch counts as well. Is this true? And yes, the tag doesn’t show when I save it, but is very much there when I edit again. Could you please clarify if today's product that did indeed launch by midnight would be included?

Yaaay! Thank you so much! This is literally the first thing I did without even thinking when I noticed the disclaimer on the page. Considering the level of sleep-deprivation after preparing the launch, instincts and impulses are the only things that keep me going, and they are quick :)

We launched today and we're currently leading the board, but we saw this post just moments before the deadline and didn't make it in time to add the tag.
We've already applied for the S26 batch. Is there any chance to still get on the YC radar through this? Would mean everything to us.

I submitted my application before deadline March 11, added the "YC Application" tag, and scheduled my launch for March 13. Is my application eligible and will be considered by YC, or the launch has to be strictly on March 12? Since I submitted my YC app before the March 11 deadline, will this launch still be part of the YC review cycle?
Do I need to contact support and change the launch time now and set it on March 12?

Basement Browser
This is exactly the kind of push we needed. We'd been soft building @Basement Browser for about a month and saw this announcement right before the deadline. Scheduled our launch that night.
For context, Basement Browser is a mobile browser where every webpage becomes a live social room so you can browse with friends, plus AI agents called "Baselings" that track prices, find deals, and surface context while you browse.
Huge thanks to @aaronoleary ronoleary and the PH team for making this happen with YC. This kind of thing genuinely changes the trajectory for small teams like ours.
