Pitch your product. Win $1M+

by

Update: The Deel Leaderboard will no longer be going ahead today for the Paris event.

We’re teaming up with The Pitch by @Deel, a global startup competition where up to 100 winners will receive $50k in funding and up to 10 winners will receive $1M+.

If you make the cut, you’ll also show up on special Product Hunt leaderboards, starting with the first event on April 13.

So this is not just another application form floating around the internet. There is real money on the table, and if you get in, people will actually see you.

This is interesting 👀

We just launched LocalSpy AI today — helps local businesses understand why competitors are actually winning customers (beyond just reviews and pricing).

Definitely applying for this. Curious what kind of products have won in the past?

Really! you mean every single winner get million?

Charlotte Harris

@caleb_bennett1 haha every one want's to get millions, but its not that easy. Its just marketing trick.

Scarlett Allen

Jack Mitchell Mitchell

@caleb_bennett1 As per my thinking their is some selected persons, or might be it preplanned .

Samuel Adams

@jack_mitchell_mitchell If anyone clear just mention me :)

Is that ten winners taking a million each? Or one million split between ten winners? Very cool either way!
Karissa Paddie

@grey_seymour 👋 Head of Startups at Deel here! Up to 10 winners will win $1M in funding each! Plus, up to 100 winners will win $50k in funding each.

@grey_seymour  @po_larr My name is Krivi Gulati and I am need to find someone who can help me make my idea come to life. This is my app idea:

It's an app that suggest outfits depending on the occasion and there are budgets you can choose in how expensive you want the outfit to be. It displays the outfit on a real life look a like mannequin to show you what the outfit would look like and you click on the clothes you like and it sends you to the websites to purchase the clothes and my app makes money through affiliate links

Muhammad Awais

 @krivi_gulati
Hey Krivi — really like this idea, especially the affiliate model. There’s clear demand in helping people quickly decide what to wear based on occasion + budget.

The mannequin/realistic rendering part is quite complex for an MVP, but this can be simplified and launched fast with curated outfits, smart filtering, and clean visuals to validate demand first.

I build mobile apps and focus on turning ideas into working MVPs quickly. If you’re serious about bringing this to life, I’d be happy to help.

You can reach me at: awaisdev004@gmail.com

Curious — have you validated this with real users yet?

Eric Buckley

@grey_seymour  @po_larr It's SAFE (simple agreement for future equity) investment, very important distinction.

Janne Vakkilainen

@grey_seymour  @po_larr  @eric_buckley  This answered the question I had! Thanks!

Gabriel Flores

@grey_seymour Sounds like ten winners getting a million each — which makes it even better!

James Anderson

This actually feels worth a shot, not just hype , but real visibility +funding in one place. Rare combo these days.

A lot of startup competitions sounds exciting until you read the details. This one at least feels like there is something meaningful on the table.

Hailey Brianna

This actually feels more interesting than most startup competition because there is real visibility attached to it, not just the application itself.

Jade Melissa

Curious how much weight goes into the actual product versus the pitch itself in the early review stage.

Ian Maxwell

The part about showing upon special Product Hunt leaderboards is smart. Funding gets attention, but visibility is what can really create momentum.

Miles Anthony

The timing part matters a lot here. A lot of people will probably see the headline and not realize some of the deadlines are very close.
