Starting off with Best Ways To Find New Music. Pumped for this feature.

@dshan great topic! I would add Plug, a lightweight Mac client for my favorite music discovery service, Hype Machine.

@rrhoover Done and done. Good call.

@rrhoover This is going to be super useful! At some point, will you be able to tell from a product's page, what collections it's included in? I'm thinking similar functionality to what you see at the bottom of Medium articles which are in collections.
Ryan Hoover
@kalivia thanks, Katelan. We're definitely exploring this. :)

@rrhoover top work! love it. can already see with the beacon ecosystem one how this will be a great way of viewing particular product industries.. what do you have in store for them next? ability to upvote collections or browse collections? ability to save collections to a list? there really is some awesome stuff!
Ryan Hoover
@isaacsrda Thanks, Rob! You can view Featured Collections here, which is a compilation of collections we curate and those from the community. We're watching people create collections now and will be highlighting some of the best. What I'm excited about is to see how people use it in unexpected ways. @jtriest, minutes after our launch, created a collection of Ludlow Ventures portfolio companies. Awesome idea. :) Soon we will add the ability to upload your own hero image, submit products that aren't already on Product Hunt to your collection, better discovery of collections, and a few other things. What do you think? Ideas?

Now time to go through my upvoted hunts. Must categorize/collect all the hunts!

Some formatting issues viewing a collection on mobile. The edit button overlaps my name and the site header overlaps the title.
Ryan Hoover
@hawkee eek! Thanks for the heads up, Scott. Adding to our bug queue.

@rrhoover Another thing I noticed is the avatars here in the comment area are not retina friendly. They should at least be 60x60 if they're presented as 30x30.

Don't seem to see a hero image option here: Edit: Saw @rrhoover 's comment earlier that said it's coming soon.

So happy to see this role out :-) AMAZING work guys! I put together a collection of awesome new products build in Berlin www.producthunt.com/DavidNagy/co... @andreasklinger @jmcq87 have I missed any? ALL feel free to ping me with others so I can grow the collection.

Awesome feature! It would be great if you could follow a collection just as you can follow a person. Thanks @rrhoover
Some Guy
@rrhoover @mvdheuvel I second this request. Getting notified whenever an item is added to a collection I like would be clutch.
Ryan Hoover
@mvdheuvel @ghobs91 we're exploring this, although it could get really noisy if we aren't thoughtful. Imagine someone adding 20 products to a collection you follow.
Some Guy
@mvdheuvel @rrhoover In situations like that, it would be a good idea to use Facebook's solution to the problem and say "20 new products have been added to the ____ Collection." since the last time they checked their notifications, rather than individual ones.
Maarten vd Heuvel
@rrhoover @ghobs91 I see your point. Maybe you could offer to save/favourite a collection instead of following it. Now I might lose track of a collection..
