All the features that help to not lose all the products deep inside of the database after two days are welcome. Well done!
Ryan Hoover
@dalequi we're working on a related feature: Similar Products. Stay tuned. :)

Love the idea of suggesting sample names on first collection creation!

if ryan is reading this PLEASE add a button > open all PH services of the day in different tab in 1 click. The back and forth drives me nuts :(
Ryan Hoover
@OurielOhayon haha, @zackshapiro actually played with this a while ago. It's kind of a disaster opening 40+ tabs at once. :)

@OurielOhayon @rrhoover Yeah, when I was building out the PH keyboard shortcuts I experimented with this. It kills your browser and your machine, even if you're running the best Macbook Pro on the market. I totally understand the desire for this but it's one of those things that makes total sense in theory but sucks in practice from a UX perspective.

@rrhoover @zackshapiro here is my suggestion then: click on PH > but stay on PH. like that i can pick which links i want to open 1 by 1 but don t have to go back and forth + do like techmeme: a check box "open link and stay on PH"

Simple & intuitive - love both the ability to organize but also to discover through expert curation. Looking forward to collecting more this weekend.

@apatelthompson thanks, Avni! Feel free to add feedback here and let us know when you have something to share. :)

@rrhoover been enjoying using this feature - here's one collection to share: http://www.producthunt.com/apate... Main feedback (similar to others) is to somehow allow other non-PH listed products to be added (even as notes) to make these collections more powerful. I like searching experts in a space (e.g. beauty or travel and seeing what they curated)... I was trying to create a list of Every Parent Survival Kit or Female Founders Must Haves and just don't have the depth of products to do so. Power of this platform is that it is accessible beyond just the tech community so the products covered would need extend as well. But realize this will also come in time and there's only so much you can focus on :) So congrats and look forward to future iterations!

Really great execution on this.. simple, flexible, and fits into the existing flow of PH. Two thoughts: 1) The short lag after clicking '+' (presumably fetching the collections) is noticeable enough where something speed it up would be great 2) The confirmation box after adding to a collection can be a little bothersome because it gets in the way if I want to add the next post to a collection, and need to wait for it to disappear. Besides that, kudos on rolling this out!
Ryan Hoover
@alexshye thanks, Alex! I agree, the delay opening the modal is a little long. We'll work on it.

@rrhoover one more thing -- would be nice to see/access the collections an individual hunt is in from the Bashaw pane
Ryan Hoover
@alexshye yeah! We're exploring that without adding too much clutter to the product page.

Would be great to save interesting collections I come across

@ashitaa good feedback (and kind of meta). :)

Great idea, and you know I started a book collection right off the bat. I'll flesh it out over the weekend probably. http://www.producthunt.com/SacBo...

@rrhoover Hah! Tbh, curating is sort of my thing. You just fed the beast within. :)

So excited for this guys! Finally a place to keep track of products I have my eyes on. Thank you!
