Hi Jannick, sounds like a really great product to make big corporations accessible to more people... One question - I’m based in South Africa, will I be able to use it and buy stocks in US companies?

What’s T3 current net worth? Will you deposit the products (shares, etc…) bought by your prospective customers only on T3?

@dswiese good question: 1. Public is the first platform to facilitate real-time fractional shares trading. Stash and other platforms that are not brokerages -- they are registered investment advisors -- and they execute orders in batches once per week or per day. Therefore its not a trading product, and you don't know the price your getting. 2. Public is not a single-player experience like most or all of other investing platforms. We've built a social layer across the app that lets people share and discuss investments. Hope that clarifies a bit! Please feel free to message our support staff (support@public.com) or visit our website public.com for more info :)

i was thinking the other day that i’m surprised that Robinhood hasn’t enabled fractional share buying yet, given Motif and others already do it.

Seems like a nice product, but as others have said, it would be great to see it available outside US
