The biggest difference you'll find in Purple is we don't use memory foam or latex! Memory foam can break down really quickly and and start to cradle you in a hammock like position, which is hard on your back! It also sleeps hot, where Purple is temperature neutral! We use premium high-density foams and all of our foam is certified by CertiPUR-US® as well. :) The foam is topped with 2" of Purple that won't break down!
