Here is a new real-time, shared canvas where teams and friends can video chat, upload pics, decorate with GIFs, write, draw and screenshare -- all in a browser.

So glad to see that Here is taking on the video space with a collaboration-first approach. Audio quality is great and I love how interactive the experience feels between participants....Not to mention i'm a sucker for the GIFs :)
I absolutely love Here! By far the most enjoyable remote workspace I've ever stumbled on. My co-founder and I love to use it to hang out since it is much less rigid than remote.

Congrats on the launch! Can you have breakout rooms?
@zurgun Thanks, and yup! Not to pre-empt some stuff we're rolling out soon but keep an eye out for easy ways to hop between associated rooms

Had a blast helping @seth_harris and @jexe out with this project! The product has really worked wonders for our remote team and I've gotten countless rave reviews from friends who've tried it out.
Here is awesome, it's so much less draining than being on a Zoom. We use it during our YC office hours, and it's so much better. My favorite thing is that we can take notes in the room, and then I can go back to the room whenever I want to see those notes. The persistence of the room is awesome.

I love that a sense of fun is built into every detail of this product. Why did WFH ever have to feel so dull and monotonous? Here shows us a better way, and it's a refreshing change!
@batissamadian Thanks! What we're building we hope is a little different in a few key ways - mmhmm is an incredibly cool presentation tool, but Here is more about creating a virtual space to spend time in alongside other people where you collaborate, vs one person giving a high fidelity presentation to others. That said, the space is suddenly getting pretty busy so I'd expect a few different companies with more direct takes on this.
Drawings delete themselves after about 10 seconds, for now. But permanent canvas is on the short list for upcoming stuff :)
