Still can't make up my mind if I like this form or not. I see some clear pros and cons though such as:
1. Really like how I can get the gist of the article without having to read the complete article or hunt for the main piece of information
2. The interaction feels very slow. Scanning multiple headlines at once vs reading one by one.
3. Logical path based on the user input could open new interaction ways such, if I were to tap on "this is interesting" on a particular point, it could suggest other related points and then take me to those articles.
But definitely pretty interesting take on the news and I do see potential in this style of interaction in news related domains.

I've been using this for the past two days and found myself disappointed when there was nothing else to chat about. Great execution on this new concept to digesting headlines.

While it was a refreshing approach, it lost all novelty within 5 minutes of use. Since it wasn't an actual SMS interface, it feels like a crappy choose your own adventure. Couple this with some Natural Language Processing and actually try to have a Siri based conversation and I'd be impressed. Even if it failed a few times it would be better than this "More" or "Next" interface. Also, sourcing the messages with your own website isn't a real source. While I've uninstalled I look forward to 2.0.
Have loved Quartz emails for a long time. Now a groundbreaking news app

Simply love it. Like having a text conversation with a journalist.

I don't know if it's an efficient way for us that already read newspapers, blogs, social media, etc... but it's certainly a great way to inform my teenager kids with quality content, in a fun way.
This is great! Love have been looking for an alternative since Briefing temporarily ended their service. I also love the quizzes when you come back for more news too soon 😄.
