Rabbit r1 - AI powered pocket companion

by
rabbit has created a first-of-its-kind mobile device loaded with rabbit OS that lets people use intuitive input methods to accomplish tasks in a tangible way. The new standalone device – r1 – eliminates the need for users to navigate multiple apps.

Fascinating. A first iteration of a social agent. Although positioning it to replace smart phones, speakers, glasses requires a huge shift in how humans currently interact with devices. Which means sociocultural change. That can take time and this is a first-mover product like the AI Pin. We are at the start of a shift in how we engage with the digital aspects of our lives.

Congrats on the launch! TLDR: OS is promising, the device will be a challenge to sell. The OS and device are inspirational. Like others have said, i think the big companies are gonna naturally move to this space as well with their mobile assistants (siri, alexa, etc) but i still think there is space for rabbit OS. I thibk the fact that it is “programmable” is the key advantage. If I could only install it on my Alexa or Apple Speaker. Then i would see the value proposition. The device, well, it has a nice niche design but I dont see the strength of it. Its lime a slightly larger iphone watch with a camera that has less pixel resolution encased by a beautiful case. I think it will be difficult for Humane and Rabbit to compete with the design form established by smartphones but wish them good luck.

I wish this project much success. It is attempting an Herculean feat bringing the device to market. I hope this 1.0 while reach the 17.0 model like the iPhone. I will be placing an order and eagerly waiting for the Easter bunny to deliver in April. Excuse the wearable debate, once users adapt and make this TikTok viral, then the rest of market will come up with accessories to make it more wearable. Love the clean design and CES presentation.

I am very excited to get an opportunity to press this device to the limits and see what I can do with it. I have a few questions 1. How often will this device receive updates. Is it an automatic push or would it have to be done manually? 2. Do you have a Beta testing team? 3. How does it respond to different Shades of SKIN colors? 4. I did PreOrder
