readywhen - The senior personal assistant that works inside WhatsApp
by•
readywhen is the senior Personal Assistant that works inside WhatsApp. It has its own phone number, its own computer, and a project board that keeps track of everything on your plate. Call it. Message it. Voice-note it. And it gets real work done.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I’m Sançar, co-founder of readywhen.
If you're a founder, you probably feel like if you stop, everything stops.
Most founders don’t run their day from a desk. They run it from the car, the school gate, the walk between meetings. That’s where the promises get made. A quote on a call. A “leave it with me” at the door. A reply you’ll send “when I’m back”. By the time you’re back, half of them have slipped, and the rest are still in your head at 11pm.
You started your business because you’re brilliant at something, not to chase follow-ups from memory. So we put readywhen where you already are.
readywhen is the senior personal assistant for owner-led businesses, and today it’s on WhatsApp. It has its own phone number, its own computer, and a project board that keeps track of everything on your plate. Call it. Message it. Voice-note it. And it gets real work done.
A few things to send it today:
💬 “Find three options for our team offsite and pencil the best one into my calendar”
💬 “Turn these notes into a client proposal and have it ready for me to check”
💬 “What am I subscribed to, and what can I cancel?”
💬 “Go through my inbox and tell me what actually needs me today”
It works with the tools you already use (1000+ of them), and nothing sends without your OK.
It’s free during the limited beta: Join the WhatsApp beta
The team and I are here all day. Tell us the first thing you’d hand readywhen, what’s missing, and what you’d want it to do next. I’ll read every comment.
See you on WhatsApp 👋
Sançar
Co-founder, readywhen
@meandering_sancar Being able to fire things off from Whatsapp has definitely increased my productivity and decreased my stress levels
@meandering_sancar having a personal assistant inside whatsapp sounds useful for managing daily how does it handle tasks that nees multiple followups?
@shivam_kushwaha16 Yes, you can ask it to set a reminder and draft the follow-up at the same time. When it’s due, readywhen reminds you with the message ready to go. It only goes out once you’ve approved it.
@meandering_sancar The project board keeping track of the promise and follow ups sounds really useful for busy founders.
How does readywhen decide what needs attention first when several tasks are the pending???
@amrita_prajapati2 Glad you asked! Two things decide it.
First, the promise itself: who you made it to, what you said and by when. Something a customer or investor is waiting on with a date attached ranks well above a loose “I’ll take a look”.
Second, what it knows about you. Over time it learns your goals, your projects and the people who matter to your business. So if you’re mid-fundraise, the investor follow-up beats the newsletter tweak, even when both are due on the same day.
Pretty cool AI assistant within WhatsApp which is supposed to be an end to end encryption application. What if Meta builds a similar one within WhatsApp, what would be your competitive edge with "readywhen"?
@richatsealedvault Good question, and honestly Meta adding more AI to WhatsApp is probably great for everyone. But we think of WhatsApp as the front door, not the product.
readywhen is joined up to the tools you already run your business on, and it builds up a picture of what matters to you: your customers, your projects, who you’ve made promises to. So if you ask “what needs me today?”, it won’t just summarise your chats. It’ll tell you Acme’s renewal is in two weeks, their CTO has emailed twice and you said you’d send pricing by Thursday. Then it’ll offer to draft it.
That bit only comes from really knowing your business, and it gets sharper the longer you use it!
@abhishek_nellikkalaya Thank you for explaining how readywhen is connected to WhatsApp. This makes more sense to me now.
Hey PH fam 👋
The best AI assistant is the one you don't have to remember to open. readywhen lives on WhatsApp, so you just text, call or voice-note it between meetings and it drafts proposals, triages your inbox, audits subscriptions and books things on your calendar, with nothing going out without your OK. Free during the beta, and Sancar and the team are here all day 🙌
Would love for you to check it out and share feedback here with the team.
@thisiskp_ Thank you for the hunt! My favourite thing to do with it is call it while I’m walking and just dump everything on my mind. Give it a go, it’s a bit addictive.
Hi everyone, I'm Abhi. I handle product marketing at readywhen.
We've just gone live and the whole team is buzzing. Inky, our octopus, says hi!
Give it a try: hand it the thing you've been putting off all week and see what comes back. Then tell us how it went, we'd love to hear it.
Cheers!
Communicating with an agent via a messaging app is very convenient (I already use something similar, so I know what I’m talking about).
It’s a great idea, but there are already many others like it. What sets you apart from your competitors (what, in your view, is the most important difference)?
@maria_anosova Great question, and nice to hear from someone who already uses one! For us the biggest difference is that readywhen has an opinion. From the moment you sign up, it learns your goals, how you work and who matters to your business, so everything it does is built around you.
Say you ask it to tidy up your notes, but a customer has been waiting on you since Tuesday. It’ll tell you: “Maria from Acme has been waiting two days for your reply. Want to answer her first?” Most tools do exactly what you ask. readywhen points you to what matters most, and that’s why we call it THE senior assistant.
Curious which one you’re using now?
It's interesting that you say this is built for founders. I feel like this app was built for one-person agencies and freelancers.
I'm juggling multiple clients right now and they all have one thing in common: they all live on whatsapp. They don't email. They don't want to join a Slack workspace. They have their phone and whatsapp and fire off requests, questions, documents, voice notes, and video. Whatsapp wasn't built to be a project management tool but that's what it's become.
@peterclaridge You’re spot on, and honestly that’s who we had in mind too: small business owners, freelancers and one-person agencies, as much as founders. WhatsApp has quietly become the office for a lot of people.
Today it’s where you talk to readywhen, so you can forward a client’s message, voice note or document straight to it and say “deal with this by Friday”. Having it read your client chats directly is something we’re keen to explore.
What would you want it to do first with all those requests?
congrats on launch day! Now that readywhen lives in WhatsApp, will it also catch the promises owners make to customers in their own WhatsApp chats, or is it only the place to talk to it?
@protsenkoalexandra Great question, and not one we’d thought about as much as we should have! Today it catches promises from your inbox, meetings and Slack, and WhatsApp is how you reach it. Customer chats on WhatsApp is a big one for owners, so it’s going on our list to explore.
Good luck with the launch! Good move on Whatsapp.
@okuiux Thanks so much! WhatsApp felt like the obvious home for it, since that’s where most founders already spend half their day.
Regarding activities such as booking, payment, and sending e-mails on my behalf, is it possible to have some guidelines where I need to be approved of first by readywhen?
Btw, Congratulations @huw_slater , @meandering_sancar and @abhishek_nellikkalaya 🎊✌️
Keep Hunt Cool Product's @thisiskp_ 🚀⭐
@aymi_malik It asks before it acts by default, so emails, bookings and anything else that leaves your hands come to you first. If you’d like stricter rules for certain things, just tell it once and it’ll stick to them. Thanks for the lovely shout-out too!
I like the octopus but the logo feels more like a ghost 👻
