This is not just another API or comm platform, but it’s contextually and provides smarts so you don’t have to. It allows customization, but also out the box, it already covers the bases. They didn’t make something that exists “better”, they made something new “work” and work well. Good luck on PH 🤙

Do you have any information on how the data you collect will be used?

@ckpleiser The data policy is shared on the website teamrecess.com. But at a high-level, we enforce a strict data use policy. The data from your workspace will only be used to provide the best Recess experience for your workspace. It is kept fully isolated with any other Meta product.

@michal_wysocki Haha! Great question. People love our avatar, but a very common question is - is it a bear or is it a raccoon? It is in fact a bear, but one that looks like a raccoon. So a raccoon-looking-bear 🐻

I love this, I just wish it wasn't in any way connected with Facebook/Meta. Seeing "By clicking Submit, you agree to Meta's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy" once installed and submitting my first response is kind of chilling.

@lee_fuhr I apologize you feel that way. We're part of NPE within Meta, which runs in an isolated manner from rest of Meta. We enforce a restricted and strict data policy. Your workspace data is only used to provide your workspace members the best experience on Recess. It is fully isolated from any other Meta product.
