'Buying' means something closer to 'invest'. Revolut doesn't let you withdraw any of the cryptocurrencies, or deposit any to sell. The fees are also higher than Coinbase (which is already very high).

They made their name by being the best banking service with superior exchange rates just to cheat their users by hund of £££ on appallin spread on ”crypto currency“ only in quot as you won’t get any real crypto or you can’t pay with it. You can only sell it back for much worse rate than you bought it (I am talking hundreds ££ even if you do the buy/sell at one moment). AVOID at any costs!

I have much greater trust in Revolut as a regulated financial services company, than I do in any crypto exchange.
If you are treating crypto as an asset rather than a currency - which I think is most people these days - this is a fantastic product.

If I could, I would downvote it. Recently, instead of focusing on their core business Revolut started doing random shit. This obviously affects them since even I, an old user, started using their competitors more now (Starling, Monzo, and I'm looking at using Transferwise soon).
