Rewind - The search engine for your life

How many go do you recommend having for rewind to work nicely? I think the video screen saving is a great idea, I just wonder how much ressource I should allocate to have that work even after 6months + of using rewind. (Edit) also curious to learn about how that affects battery life.

Would this comply with wiretapping laws? :)

I don't think my mouth open so wide for a piece of technology in a decade. Please, put privacy at the front of everything else, this is amazing but it has concerning potential for abuse.

Really interesting concept. I’m skeptical of the compression claims but would be interested in testing this out

I’m very intrigued by this concept and execution! I mean, how can you compress (and still bring back useful data) so small? How is its interface? I’m pretty curious and eager to tweak around and (hopefully) able to connect emotionally with this tool!

I‘ve been looking for ways to more effectively rewind for years. Atlas Recall seemed very promising in 2016, but ultimately failed. Now I just rely on my hard-to-parse browser history, my email archive, my many-thousands photo library, and my Google maps timeline. Oh Rewind how I’ve been waiting for you.

Very much looking forward to this. Seems like a no-brainer for my team, and to augment our automatic time tracker (We use Timing). We like to say "always be recording" but of course we often fail to do it. Curious to know if it you are able to have an "open mic" and record everything your Mac hears, not just in meetings.

This is precisely the type of tool I've been looking for! As a leader of a large team, it is daunting to track and recall all the conversations and connections with my team, business partners, peers, etc. I'm super excited to see this being announced and would love to be part of the beta to share my experience and feedback!
