Rewind - The search engine for your life

As a person with subpar memory, this app seems to be the blessing I've been waiting for. I've always tried to be better at memorizing things by eating certain foods, writing stuff down, etc. The result? Still has not gotten any better lol but I do forget fewer things since I am quick to write ideas out once they come to me. Sadly there are still moments when I forget to write something down in a matter of minutes due to getting distracted or just simply forgetting (go figure?) so I am very excited to use this once I get my hands on it. The fact that it's on macOS is even better due to the fact that I spend most of my time on my MacBook. Thank you very much for creating this.

Gosh, I find rewinding so incredible. great. Can't wait to try the beta or full version, and I eagerly put myself on the waiting list because I envisioned it to be almost perfect for me. Awesome, @dsiroker and team!

Excited to try this out. I use screenie to have OCR search across my screenshots and that alone feels like a superpower. I can easily see how this plugs in as an always-on replacement for that. Looking forward to getting my hands on it! I love that everything is done locally as there's no other way I'd trust it. I'll put my bet that Apple ends up acquiring this.

Thanks Dan. I’m especially interested in some form of “intelligent” indexing of the capture so I can get to the pertinent bits. This “capture everything for future use” has been one in my ideas document for years so I’m very interested in your implementation. Am very curious as to how you’ve designed this. The data structures alone must have been a challenge. Best of luck and I look forward to purchasing Rewind upon launch.
