Thanks @erburgess. If you want to stop slacking, we do make it easy to import all your channels and messages. We also have a Rock bot for Slack which posts task updates back to Slack as well to slowly wean you off of Slack if that's what you prefer :)
How do you handle scale? I'm really hesitant on anything that 'brings everything together' because I end up with another place a comment could be and still having to click out to all the apps, or I struggle to find things in the crush of stuff in one app. I'm never going to stop emailing third parties because integrations take time and money and emails to set up, so I'm not sure how I'd get everything into this tool. How does this beat Jira + Slack + Email + File manager of your choice? Or am I not in your target market since task management is already covered by Jira?
@aliaaa we think of Rock as a collaboration front-end which brings together communication + tasks and integrates with the apps most teams use on a daily basis.
The benefit of Rock over Jira + Slack + Email + File manager is that you can now consolidate most of these into one space making everything more streamlined and organized and largely solving the struggle of where to find things.
For example, high-level discussion on a specific feature can now happen at the task level on Rock where you can add your design details, assignees, and attach a Figma design file. As everything is together you can then @mention the task in a chat conversation, topic, or note.
Happy to chat to hear more about your specific workflow and use case if you'd be up for that: https://space.new/kenzo

I have been using Rock since mid-2021 and I continue to be a happy user :) It's easy to use and very helpful, especially for project management and supervising a remote/virtual team. Excited for Rock 2.0! Cheers!
Thanks @anna_patricia_saberon! Curious to hear what makes Rock great for your remote/virtual team?

This looks great and solves a couple of problem that I had with the existing tools. Will give this a try

Our team uses Jira to handle project; so far everything works well except one thing—you can't just communicate with people on it, and it's frustrating when you're handling multiple tasks at the same time. We're actually looking for new tools to replace Jira, and I think Rock can be a good fit. Will share it with the team to see if we can give it a try.
Thanks @frankie_zhang. Depending on what you need I think Jira can also get overtly complex. While you're looking at things let us know if you have any questions at https://space.new/hello

Congrats @kenzofong & Rock team! We love the platform, and our company has used Rock as our main platform since April 2021. When we started using rock, we stopped using slack & Trello! Keep up the great work.
